Killing is forgivable in the Christian faith.
Christians can nuke the world and say 'Forgive me lord' and go to
heaven.
The Jews killed Jesus and that made God forgive all sins anytime.
Christians can thank the Jewish people for giving Christians the freedom
to do any imaginable evil and still go to heaven.
Ref

Christian engineers are ridiculous to go to heaven by using forgiveness
for killing.
Forgiveness (to get to heaven) for killing results in no deferent for
killing. Forgiveness + killing = free to kill
What keeps Christians from not killing is the same reason Atheists don't
kill.
It's not good to kill everyone because burgers need flipping and toilets
need washing.

One of the best electrical engineer I knew was a born again Christian
nut case. He used to hold noon time prayer meetings with like minded
kooks. But the guy was a genius at electronics.

I once had a discussion with him about geology and the age of rocks and
of the earth and he was oblivious to the well known science of that
subject. I wondered how the hell he ever got an engineering degree
without a basis in other sciences.

It was a though his brain was totally compartmentalized. One piece of
information was totally separate from all other information and there
were no connections or relations between them. For him nothing in
physics or electronics conflicted with is Christian superstitions.

That thought process was and is totally foreign to me. In my thinking
everything is related and NO piece of information or evidence exists
alone in a vacuum.

I would suspect that his type are few and far between. Most religious
nut cases do NOT study or relate to science or engineering and are not
likely to be great electronic designers.

Well, there are quite a few terrorists trying to kill everybody in the
name of religion that have engineering degrees. Case in point would be
Mohamed Atta who masterminded the 911 attack. He was doing God's work
using well known physics principles.

http://www.slate.com/id/2240157

"The anecdotal evidence has always been strong. The mastermind of the
9/11 attacks, Mohamed Atta, was an architectural engineer. Khalid
Sheikh Mohamed got his degree in mechanical engineering. Two of the
three founders of Lashkar-e-Taibi, the group believed to be behind the
Mumbai attacks, were professors at the University of Engineering and
Technology in Lahore."

That sparks a rant..

An illegal interview question for an engineer is
'What religion do you practice?'
http://www.hrworld.com/features/30-interview-questions-111507/
The question is rightfully illegal for janitors but wrongly illegal for
engineering.
'What religion do you practice?' is an essential question for
engineering.
'What religion do you practice?' is massively more necessary to ask
compared to asking illegal questions such as nationality, marital or
family status or heath.
'What religion do you practice?' helps an employer to measure a level of
science denial or evidence denial.
Nobody likes to see reports on transistor demons causing product
failure.
Atheists applying for an engineering job must be careful to avoid
accidentally getting HR filtered due to religiosity.
If asked 'What days are you available to work?' (A legal HR question.)
Atheists should say everyday.
Not I can't work Sundays or Easter or Good Friday.
Time off is nice but not getting the job is a bummer.

Christian engineers are ridiculous to possibly fake Atheism to get
engineering jobs.
