( Not all 38000 Christian denominations.) The scientific gap is filled with several abiogenesis models without hard evidence such as the creation of a protocell. Plugging God in the gap as an explanation for abiogensis explains nothing. 'God did it' is as explanatory as quantum is quantum. 'God did it' is not an explanation because God doesn't visit scientists to explain abiogenesis step by step. (Long ago, God was unavailable to explain his fabrication and control of lightning.) Magic(God did it)is not an explanation for how life emerged from lifeless elements, lifeless compounds and lifeless molecules from lifeless rock all composed of lifeless protons, lifeless neutrons and lifeless electrons. Christian engineers are ridiculous in explaining great mysteries with 'God did it!'. 'God did it' = 'Shut Up'. Why do you take everything that would be taken positive and try to turn it around negative? Do you not realize you are doing what the Bible is talking about when it says in the last days those would come and call good evil and call evil good. You take a woman getting raped being rewarded with a husband and the rapist being fined and change it into the woman getting punished and the man being rewarded. All men have been born in the lineage of Adam and all were sinners by birth, we aren't sinners because we sin, we sin because we are sinners, it's our very nature. Jesus was the second man, he was like Adam before the fall. Although Jesus was tempted in the ways we are I don't believe he had the sin nature we have. Jesus undid the curse that Adam was responsible for, by one mans sin we were cursed and by one mans righteousness we are made righteous before God. We are first born as a normal sinful human but we can be born again of God. But even though we are born of God they still have the sinful man to contend with. A Christian sins and is ashamed of it, someone that is not a Christian can sin but they are not necessarily ashamed of it, often they boast of it. So we have a spirit born of God that desires to do Gods will but we have humanity born as a sinner that rebels against Gods will. RogerN |
