It is ok to have it in Sid, because it still has to migrate to testing
to be part of any release. This is exactly why #581265 was filed.

Sorry, yes. That's a fine alternative to not including it: filing a
migration-blocker bug.

<sigh> Does it matter? It was originally in experimental. Because I
read the Developer's list I noticed that it was moved to Sid.

I only noticed that it was packaged for Debian from one of the Debian
sites that echoes it's feed to Twitter; several weeks ago.
