Even if he did, "non-negotiable demands" tend to get a response of
"fsck you *and* the horse you rode in on!"

A polite request, explaining why CDE is needed/wanted is far more likely
to get attention!

Failing that, there are other vendors and other operating systems.

The problem is that that is more CDE users than there are.

I don't know about the rest of you guys and gals but I've been using CDE
for twenty years or so. I'm used to it, it does what I need, and I
wouldn't change it if I could.
