We do get wood rot though. ! There's some new kind of stuff at the lumber store. I don't like the feel of it but it's supposed to last and not need maintenance and stuff. It feels like very rough to my fingers. It would be a pain to keep clean because the surfaces are not smooth. It also feels very, very heavy. /BAH
