I don't envy you. I see people like that at the VA hospital in
Gainsville when I'm there, but they do have ID, or they don't get
treatment. The hospital has a locker room and showers for them, but
typical to federal laws, they are not allowed to sleep there unless they
are an in patient.

The Ocala national forest has some 3000 homeless Veterans scattered
around in shanties and tents who refuse any help. Sometimes that will
visit one of the mobile medical units, but only if they are afraid they
are about to die if they don't.

Before Hitler - no holocaust.

After Hitler - no holocaust.

And that's despite the clear anti-Semitism in Germany - and much of the
Western world as well. Even in Poland which was arguably more anti-Semitic
than even the Krauts there was no holocaust. True Russia had its pogroms,
but they were somewhat less effective.

They are the fastest growing users of oil currently.

Nope. The original question was what would happen to the price of oil
if US stopped using so much. The answer was not much since C&I (among
others) would sop it up.
Assuming of course that there was no major damage to the US
economy so we could continue to buy stuff from C&I. I

Actually, in the case of UK social services I can readily believe that policy
was to blame in fact.

Really? Look at some historical texts and get back to me.
