Well even the one year left it within a tolerance of 1 order of magnitude. Quite accurate for some things. >The comparison of a single event to the > entire history of automobile use isn't vert logical either. Really? Depends I suppose. We [tinw] have had quite some time now to make car usage as safe as possible and still kill around 4x10^4 people a year. International terrorism on CONUS is a brand new threat and only kills 3x10^3 people in five years. Is that more logical? Threat is very much perception driven. People perceive a greater threat from terrorism than anything else because they have had time to acclimatise to the every day threats which kill at least 3 orders of magnitude more people (accidents, crime etc). In the UK, less than 100 people have died as the result of Islamic based terrorism (a fraction of the number who have been killed by Irish related terrorism), yet we have a constantly heightened alert state. Planes to the US are becoming a joke now, all because of four domestic flights being taken over. How many flights take off each day?

How? Because of all the wars you've been pointlessly starting and you want to start more. It's horrible. There's death and destruction on the news every night. British lads are dying for America and all you do is tell us we're wrong to criticise. I can assure you that the British public is getting VERY pissed off. I was just watching 'Question Time' and there was a very anti-US feeling from the audience. Without a change of tack, I can see the North Atlantic Alliance falling apart in the next couple of years.
