The Western World seems to have gotten on just fine, however. The only
disruptions I've noticed are the ones my own government is doing to me.

I didn't notice any rise in food prices after the event, save what could be
explained by a blip in transportation for a week or so.

Sorry, for all this, it still does not equate to (or anywhere remotely close
to) "intent to destroy all of Western Civilization."

I do think about them. It was quite a tragedy...but still less than 1/25 of
the number of people killed *each year* in the US by driving their
automobiles.
