Tragic iMac Non-Response? I just migrated my wife from an old PPC iBook to an old G5 iMac. Computer worked fine for a couple of days. Can't scan with new HP8500 on iMac Snow Leopard I hooked up my new HP 8500 printers/scanner/fax to my wireless lan. My two Windoze XP boxes had no problem. Everything checked out. slower usenet DLs I just added WPA2 password protection to my wireless network. As far as I know, that's all that changed. Now, my DL speeds on usenet have gone from 14.5 to 5.8 Mb/s.
