Only halfway. Only one side in this conflict is rational, and the
other side is in love with death.

Unfortunately, it takes wisdom on both sides, as finally evolved in
Ireland.

The Hezbollah rockets are only crudely aimed. They could be set up
anywhere and fired by timers or cell phones or whatever. But thay are
in fact set up in towns and villages, next to homes and schools and UN
posts, to maximize deaths of Lebanese civilians when the Israelis go
after the launch sites. The Iranians *want* a lot of Lebanese civilian
casualties.

Certainly, as there are in the USA and the UK and most everywhere
else. But they don't have private stashes of rockets.

Oh, give them a couple of weeks of British cuisine and they'll slim
right down.

I don't think so. Certainly not with China or Africa or South America.
Europe has consciously worked towards irrelevance, and unconsiously
ignored its own success. It's entirely illogical that France and the
UK are still permanent members of the Security Council... laughable
actually.

We get three different PBS (the non-commercial Public Broadcasting
System) stations here. They run lots of BBC stuff, actually:
Masterpiece Theater, the Mystery series (Morse, Dalgliesh, Linley,
Miss Marple), BBC news and documentaries, Monte Python, and some
stunningly bad British situation comedies.

Really, you seem to believe that all Americans are fat idiots who only
listen to Rush Limbaugh and never leave their home towns. If you'll
excuse the criticism, that seems awfully provincial of you.
