Yes.

Unless you know the secret handshake and whistle, which lets you open
the box to see the actual device.

Which apparently leaves you out in the cold.

Again.

And then, all you see is those inch wide borders eating up all the screen?

I checked at Apple and though the picture is pretty slick, in reality,
it must be awful!

Coming sometime? An app that will "translate" youtube's Flash? And this
won't send up the lame CPU up in smoke? Really, this is going to be great!

None whatsoever! You can always send emails... well, until the wonderful
Flash bridging applications arrive.

when it's done

youtube has supported h.264 since 2007. it doesn't translate flash.

no smoke.

none. provide your own movies if you want.

there are no 'bridging' apps.

Don't be revealing that stuff on the Internet!

The borders "eat up all the screen" in the same way that your fork eats
up all of your food. The borders are how you hold the iPad! They are as
discernible to the user as the taste of your fork is when you eat.

Sorry, I missed the smiley. Was that tongue-in-cheek? Because what kind
of a fool has an opinion on something he has never seen!?

My wife's new iPad is technological beauty raised to a new level. And
that's before you turn it on. After a few minutes of use, even after
using iPhones and iPod touches since day 1, the word that seems to come
to peoples' minds--the half-dozen or so owners I have talked to in my
circle of friends today--is "sublime."
