And you can watch Netflix, soon Hulu and a few others that have seen the writing on the wall. Whether or not Flash sticks around, providers want to be on the iPad. -- Lloyd

You're going to have to make a proposal, followed by a formal RFD and a vote :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Creating the newsgroup is one thing, moving traffic to it is another. :-) In fairness, the ipad is a significant event and product for Apple and what is significant for Apple ends up being signifiacnt for any/all Apple products, including macs and os-x. BTW, a good report on the saturday mayhem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLCAMq9OAFY&feature=related (Looks like Youtube now seems to have its own TV ads before videos).

If you mean _me_ , I might not do that because: a) I'm a Mac guy in my mind the iPad is a Mac. b) By the time I went through the iPad group and kill-filed all the a-holes that I have kill-filed here, there would be practically no one left but Windoze users, and refer back to a) regarding that. So put me on _your_ a-hole list and kill-file me. Or kill messages on CSMS that contain "iPad." Or both. I am also a "Mac guy" and as far as I am concerned the iPad has far more in common with the iPhone than it does with the Mac. I don't have an iPhone or an iPad and have no plans to get either, so it would suit me if this group did not fill up with threads about them. With all the excitement about the release of the iPad it was inevitable that it would be discussed here, but once that has died down, technical questions about the iPad would be far better directed to the iPad group. > b) By the time I went through the iPad group and kill-filed all the > a-holes that I have kill-filed here, Why wouldn't you have already kill-filed a-holes globally rather than only in this group?
