Was a touch worried about the 'wireless issue', but the wifi seems to have excellent range, easily as good as my macbook and significantly better then my ipho... 29 Apr 2010 08:59

Hi all, I'm having a bit of a clear-out and unearthed a full set of MacPublishing. This was just about my bible in my DTP/design days in the early 90s. I've always been a sucker for magazines, but these were exceptional - they weren't sold in newsagents, only by subscription (and cost an eye-watering 10 per... 25 Apr 2010 05:30

Lonely Planet City Guide Apps now free
A heads up - just in case you haven't spotted it. The App store has about 15 lonely planet city guide apps available for free - London, Paris, Amsterdam, etc. I think it's only for a day or two as part of "VolcanoAid" for trapped travellers. N.B. They are ~ 50-100Mb each - so may be better downloading to i... 23 Apr 2010 21:41
