Was that a statement or a question?

Just so my intentions were clear, I was 'going along' with Peter and
referring / including you in what was a lighthearted play on Peters
suggestion that you were 'halfway to accepting me' (with your point re
'fiddlers and the two types rarely .. etc ').

I had just felt that some of your replies (to me directly and
indirectly) of late were straight, fair and reasonable so thought it
might be worth having a go communicating with you again (hopefully to
our mutual benefit).

If that wasn't a consideration or was even not your intention that I
might reply then I apologize for doing so and will cease forthwith
(and would politely request you do the same as it would be slightly
unfair of you to do so IMHO).
