I need to get the official iPad case.

Currently using a hardback book to prop it up on my lap.... Been away
from my laptop for around 2 hours now, and not really missing it so far.

Also plan to buy the camera kit and a roll up rubber USB keyboard for
use when I am working away and need a better keyboard.

So far, so good.... 2 hours with multi tasking has used 14% of my
battery, which is quite impressive.

There is Dropbox as an online backup. Might not be enough space (or
time) for photos, though.

Ooh, you've jailbrked it? I haven't done that yet. I think I might not
need to, might just sit out for iPhone OS 4..

It's so quick and easy I thought it was worth doing.

Running quite a bit here at the moment:

This, obviously
IM+
Accuweather
Some Facebook app
Safari

Also ran YouTube earlier,too.

Works well.

Now at 80%

I got to the convention at 10:30, tunrned the iPad on, it was at 100%. I
used it all day, a bit of web browsing, a lot of photos, some newsgroup.
Several people trying it.

I left at just after 21:30 and when I put it in the bag, it was showing
61% battery.

This is fantastic for me. With the netbook I would have had to plug it
in before 12, if I was using the net.
