I got lucky. I don't think word had got around that Purple World had
them, at least not in Stoke.

Mind you, I went back the next day for a case and the entire accessories
area had been picked clean.

As Zoara said, there are some people that don't get it, and that's
fine.

I on the other hand have no issue understanding why you might just
like to go out and buy your typewr/////Apple Mac. ;-)

Horses for courses don'tcha know. You like to sit at home doing the
same old, I like to do and try lots of different things. It's just I
have (and prefer to) work on a tighter budget than some.

Playing with Linux has enabled me to install it on a few peoples
machines either instead of Windows so that must be a good thing right?

Cheers, T i m

p.s. I've just downloaded and booted the OpenSuse Gnome LiveCD, seems
ok and I may even install it alongside the rest.

Oi, careful. You're halfway to understanding and accepting Oor T i m.

You do know the thing that bugs the hell out of trolls more than
anything is responding to them? If T i m is trying to be deliberately
inflammatory, killfile him and never respond to his deliberate
inflammation. Then he won't bug you and you won't bug him. Simples.

I think he's settled down <waves to T i m> and now the "hey, Windows
does what *I* need" mantra is just an "ah, bless" part of who he is, and
the rest of the banter is just part of a robust newsgroup with diverse
points of view.

Understanding and accepting are just two of the skills Andy has to
find / hone, now he's nearly a father. ;-)
