It's not /quite/ the same as Elite, which I have. Elite's a different game - faster, more enjoyable more readily. None of the non Beeb Elite-type games are /quite/ right. I've messed about with Oolite and figured out how to get it to play like Elite - it's very close, very close, you've just got to do it like /that/ to have it work out about the same in how it feels to play. But... The thing is, Elite was astounding then because no other computer game had so much depth and richness - the 3d flying/combat, the trading, the multiple galaxy exploration, the `colour' by way of neat little details, many of which were pure decoration. But it's a bit poor and shallow when compared to - well, name your modern game, eh? That's CTRL on my 1-year old wired UK keyboard (= it's fullsize). This also means that I have a backspace-key (delete char to left of insertion point) above the Return key, and a forward-delete key just to the right of the Return key. And the fn key is just above the forward-delete key, but I've no idea what it's for. -- Tim "That excessive bail ought not to be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted" Bill of Rights 1689
