Bachelor combining electronics, computer and communication?
Today many systems integrate knowledge from these three fields. However, most bachelors are focused on a subset of them. Are you aware of any degrees which give a broad view of these fields? I have been able to find very few, and it is not easy to search for this as this requires digging quite deep in the speci... 5 Jun 2010 18:01

LED luminous intensity in dot matrix displays
Hi All, I'm currently designing a dot matrix LED display for moving messages. I need some information about what the luminous intensity of a multiplexed LED should be for good visibility indoors in a brightly lit room. If I know that I can work out whether I can get away with a 16:1 duty cycle with the 8x8 L... 28 May 2010 08:14

Shielded Banana Plugs
I want to make some custom cables for battery testing to plug into my Fluke meter. I'd really rather use the nifty shielded banana plugs like Fluke uses, to reduce the chances of inadvertently frying a battery.
