SMPS "S" terminals & V adj.
I recently purchased a switch mode power supply with no accompanying literature. In addition to the V+ and V- outputs it has S+ and S- terminals. Can someone please advise what these are for and how to wire them. I also understand the output voltage can be adjusted + or - 5 volts from the specified 12V, but can... 21 May 2010 18:22
need cheap pressure sensor
I'm working on a project to help develop a solar powered water pump. The pump is called a fluidyne, essentially a liquid piston Sterling engine. You can find more about the project here: http://www.iedu.com/DeSoto/Fluidyne/ What I would like to do is build a small fluidyne that I can put a specific, controlled am... 23 May 2010 11:22

A few years ago they were kind of a secret but I noticed their behavior. Somebody else mentioned that some of t... 23 May 2010 04:56
Thanks to the group
I want to thank everyone that helped my with the level and flow sensor problems. I was trying to use Radio Shack phototransistor/IRLED pairs - part # 276-0142. I couldn't get any of the circuits to... work reliably. It was very frustrating, trying to diagnose what I had done wrong. Then yesterday, I stuck one o... 20 May 2010 23:46

On unions: I know of a guy who worked at a large post office and like so many there, hated the job. He won millions in a lottery in the 1980's. He hated it so bad that he actually kept going to work to deliberately slack off, just to get revenge on the supervisors. It took them an ENTIRE YEAR to get rid ... 20 May 2010 21:36

AC current sensors with interface...
Hi, I'm looking for non-contact current sensors for 0-60/70A AC connected to some digital interface (1-wire, GPIB, RS422, ethernet etc). The measured cable should run through a hole in the sensor and not be galvanically connected. I need to monitor and register AC current with a computer from different a... 20 May 2010 22:41
