ifft - Phase problems
Hi all, I have been trying to use ifft to calculate the coefficients of an FIR filter. When I check the filter with freqz, the magnitude is fine, but the phase has gone all jaggedy and doesnt resemble the desired phase. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be? Thanks in advance Ben ... 14 May 2010 01:56
could no load weights file error
Hi everybody, I have a problem with pretty simple code - I use the nsGFF or the data imported from txt file. It works well with one data set, but doesn t work with another one (the same code, same structure of data (as far as I think), which I consider to be pretty similar. nstrain gives me error - could not load we... 13 May 2010 17:08
Data Structures
After looking around, I can't find any implementations of common algorithmic data structures. In particular, I'm looking for a good binary search tree. I'd settle for any tree, but a Red-Black tree or other self-balancing architecture would be nice. Does anyone know of an implementation of this type of thing? Mat... 13 May 2010 17:08
please help with selecting color for graphs
Hello, I am trying to plot my graphs with a variability backdrop showing the min and max. Everything works perfect except the color selection. I know grey color isnt one of the select few colors to choose from, but is there any letters such as 'g' for green that will make my selected variable grey in color? Thank... 13 May 2010 17:08
64 bit Matlab hangs during long computations
My PC hangs at seemingly random points when performing fairly long computations (10mins - 12hrs) in 64 bit Matlab. The most common bit of code to hang is a stack of for loops used in a normalised cross correlation I wrote, but it has also crashed during my image reconstruction code (mostly for loops and FFTs). When i... 13 May 2010 16:01
illumina solexa sequencing
Hello - I have a dataset generated by illumina solexa sequencing. The following shows "start" and "end" points of a gene on chromosom1. Size of data is 34000-by-2. "Chromosom" "Start" "End" "Gene" "chr1" 4224 7502 "Gene A" "chr1" 4224 19233 "Gene B" "chr1" 24474 25944 "Gene C" "chr1"... 14 May 2010 11:41
Axes Label Question
Hi, So this should be simple for someone to answer, I have looked through the information on axes and not quite found what I am looking for. I produce a plot with imagesc, which works well. So let us imagine that my x and y values go from 0 to 100. On the x and y axes then, it says that they go from 0 to 100, whi... 13 May 2010 21:34

Clustered Bar Chart with Sub-Categories
Hello. I need to make a clustered bar chart with categories and sub-categories. I've looked on the file exchange to see if there was something there, but found nothing that would suit my needs. As an example, this clustered stacked bar chart <http://peltiertech.com/Excel/ChartsHowTo/ClusterStack.html> is similar to wha... 13 May 2010 17:08
