Pot, kettle: colour id please?

Rowland.

Well Tim, I believe most civilized countries try to
accommodate immigrants, I would be surprised
if there were a huge difference in immigration
quotas between countries.

My guess is that both the UK and USA require people
to get on a waiting list, and prove they have enough
money to support themselves while they settle in to
their new country.

Once they "get in", I imagine that neither the Brit nor
the Yank would have too much difficulty adapting to
their new country.

Our California governor holds active citizenship in two
countries, Austria and the USA .

Good advice remains good advice, even if the person dispensing it
doesn't follow it.

Indeed - the best thing to do with a thread like this is to just keep
out.

So what's your excuse, eh?

You've just jumped in to make an irritating comment in a thread with far
too many irritating personal comments.

What was the point?

Rowland.

P.S. zoara, you seem to think that I do not understand what Jim was on
about. That is rather patronising of you.

Perhaps you'd do better to hand out your advice to Jim? After all, he
does need to learn to control his behaviour here, doesn't he?
