Finder find broken
I got fed up with Find defaulting to searching the entire computer, so I went to the preferences and found "When performing a search" and changed it to "Search the current folder". This did not have the desired effect, giving me the option of searching "thisMac" or "basiljet" and no option to search the current... 16 Jun 2010 09:57

MacSoup Trial
I've been using MacSoup for the last few days and so far it's been a real pleasure to use. It was straightforward to set up and it's suitably snappy when reading the posts. Prediction
I think that the Apple TV is likely to be relaunched as an iOS device, and will be controlled by the new standalone trackpad that slipped out of the rumour-mill last month. The on-screen display will show where it thinks your fingers are. I'm not sure about that last bit, though. Maybe it wouldn't really work. ... 15 Jun 2010 08:42

The patched Flash Player
I've installed the security patch for the Flash player, on my iG5 and on Anne's MBP. On the iG5, the picture quality is slightly less good. Fine detail is not as clear.
