Come to Bedlam!
A fun day out for all the family! See the loonies shambling in their cages! Hear them howl as you prod them with sticks! What a joy to see them snivelling and whining! Teach /your/ children all about the social graces attached to persecuting those less fortunate than themselves! Rowland. -- Remove ... 7 Jun 2010 04:13

Domain management and testing software
Are there any DNS testing/diagnostic tools for Macintosh? I used to use some good web-based ones in the past, but it has all changed since I last looked. A Mac-based application that kept an eye on my domains for me would be ideal. Daniele ... 3 Jun 2010 08:57
Minor Macspotting- series of 100,000
At the end of the last episode of 'Ashes to Ashes', as Gene Hunt returns to his office in purgatory and looks over the Mercedes 190D catalogue (the Quattro has passed Beyond) the new dead copper comes storming in, as they all have, shouting 'Where's my office?' and the year is set up as he shouts 'Give me back my i... 4 Jun 2010 20:18
iPad ad
Hi All, Just saw my first TV ad for the iPad (on Virgin1) and it was quite good. It seemed to cover 'the point' and some good points (like battery life), even if you didn't know it existed previously. For those of us in the know the deeper issues can often be more about what it can't do rather than what it can... 2 Jun 2010 12:03
Something my Mac can do which my Windows 7 desktop can't...
I've found something my Macbook can do which my Win7 desktop can't. ....Take an hour to empty the trash and use so much CPU power that the base of my Macbook pro gets red thehot, fan comes on full whack and stays on until its finished. I've never ever had the fan come on on my Macbook Pro until this. My Wi... 3 Jun 2010 05:40

That's betterer!...
I got up this morning, and had a desire to strip the MacBook and clean out the dust. Bloody glad I did, there was a carpet's worth of fluff and dust bunging up the outlet. There was probably about 20% of the outlet left open. I did some testing with Aperture, and I'd say it's dropped by about 10C when under lo... 5 Jun 2010 09:14
Malware article
Sorry if this has already been covered here - I have looked and cannot see any older posts. Malware seems to mostly rely on users downloading software that perhaps they shouldn't e.g. hookey copies of applications etc - but according to the article this one is concealed inside a legimate shareware program. Is... 2 Jun 2010 22:02
