That all seems a bit vague.

giffgaff have stolen money from my account and they have lied about
it. Those are facts. The scum part of my "allegation" is a personal
opinion of giffgaff.

I have already explained I didn't receive one.

Originally giffgaff claimed I hadn't subscribed to a premium rate SMS
service; the alleged sender of the message has no record of sending
it.

I wonder what motivates you to stick up for giffgaff.

I don't like seeing someone 'negotiating' by throwing trash around,
using a series of time-wasting incomplete disclosures and bullshit
misdescriptions

giffgaff have made efforts to work this out for you, but you won't
help them at all

Another thing that hasn't been explained:

giffgaff seemed to suggest you had 2 such messages

- but you are complaining about only one

It's not impossible that you have been careless with access to your
phone, and someone has subscribed it to a service and deleted the
received message, perhaps for credit for game-playing sites. That
would be theft by the person doing it, not by the network.

For an example of your refusal to make any effort to discover
something yourself, have you contacted the short code number provider
2ergo yet to ask to be unsubscribed, and to ask which service it
actually was?

Hi martin jay,

Please see the report attached below:

'[image: http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/9008/martinjay.jpg]'

Or if that doesn't work, please click on this link:
http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/9008/martinjay.jpg

This shows you the report which I got from the back end. I've blacked
out your mobile number, as I wouldn't want you to get unsolicited
phonecalls. As far as I am aware, this report was also send to you via
email. If not, I'd be happy to send it to you again, without the number
blacked out.

It clearly states that a text was submitted from your number to the
offending 82023. Which means your number initiated the contact, and
then it clearly states you got a response from them. This happened on
two occasions.

The only way to get a text message / service back is to text it
directly from the handset which the document shows.

Once again, the company behind the number 82023 (2ergo) is completely
separate from giffgaff and so not our responsibility. We cannot be held
accountable for the actions that take place on your handset.

There is unfortunately nothing more I can do for you.

Kind regards,

Vincent

Interesting. I suspect this is showing text messages sent to me and
not ones I've sent. I know the column headers don't confirm that.

giffgaff has already confirmed no text messages were sent from my SIM
to subscribe to the service.

I don't think it does show that, and highlights a very serious flaw
with your billing system.

Assuming for one moment that the details you've offered do show text
messages sent *from* my SIM to subscribe to the service, do you also
have details of the premium rate text messages that were *sent* back
to it?
