Get yourself a T Mobile or Vodafone PAYG or contract, and have
reverse charge text barring enabled.

5 Years ago i had a T Mobile Freetime750 contract (with big cashback)
I immediately enabled reverse Text barring, and over the contract period
had no trouble at all.

It's obscene that the other mobile networks 3, Orange, O2, (and their
virtuals)
haven't followed suit.
Obviously they equate that sharing in criminally gained revenue still
outbalances customer relations.

My apologies; I observed you were somewhat vociferous in your defence of the
practices that go on and assumed you were employed by one of the sharks
(toothless or otherwise) that infest that particular stretch of water.

But I stand by what I said; that area of the industry needs outlawing at
worst, at best it needs a bomb putting under it.

And I can stand on the moral high ground because I've been the victim of two
previous attempted scams.

And I can name Stream as scammers without fear of legal repercussions
because they were the guilty party on one of the occasions.

Sorry, I'm fed up with repetitive false accusations and insinuations
like this

I am not lying on here when I say for the fourth or fifth time that I
have no connection with any phone company

Also, I absolutely have not been vociferous in defence of malpractice.
I've said over an over again that people need to sort this out when it
happens (like you have), instead of the supine and ineffectual
whingeing as practiced by the OP, who refuses to extract his thumb
from his bum and make one or two simple phone calls

How many more times do I have to repeat myself?

I have contacted PlanetCalling. They said it's nothing to do with
them.

I have contacted 2ergo and have not received a response and probably
never will.

I have contacted PhonepayPlus, but they take up to twelve weeks to
respond. Given that giffgaff have started to make up evidence, see
<http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/9008/martinjay.jpg>, I wonder how
far I'll get with them.

I have also contacted giffgaff, the company that billed me for the
premium rate text message. 'Nothing to do with us' they say.

You keep saying I've done nothing, but you're wrong. I have done
everything I realistically can.

And I'm still waiting for a response from 2ergo. I doubt I'll receive
one.

giffgaff has already started making up evidence, see
<http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/9008/martinjay.jpg>, so it's
probably all pointless.

Specifically, I was not charged for 'sending' those two text messages
and they were both sent AFTER the premium rate text messages. Very,
very suspicious.

Oh, and did anyone else notice that Vincent suddenly disappeared after
being caught out?

So easy that you and giffgaff initially fingered the wrong service
provider? From giffgaff:

These services can be subscribed to in a number of ways other than by
direct call or SMS and although I requested your call records to be
checked this is by no way confirmation of whether you did or didn't
request this subscription. Based solely on you call records there is
no history of you requesting this service via either of these methods,
however I have dug a little further and can tell you that you can
subscribe to this specific premium text service via their website
which I've attached a link to below:

even then, you were still ranting on very recently about having to
wait for 3 months to hear from Phonepayplus, when you're evidently too
arrogant or too lazy to simply phone up PlanetCalling and ask them for
a refund
