Having read all these replies none of you are doing me any good in the

I have a Kindle, that I quite like and having just bought a new
motorbike, getting another expensive pressie to myself might just get

See, Im just sat here right now in the conservatory with the MacBook on
my lap, reading this and a couple of other groups, checking email, and
glancing as the odd twitter feed entry pops up, and it strikes me that
a iPad will do all this for me and more.

The MB gives me about 3 hours or battery doing this, the iPad will do
it all night long (and more)

This isnt going to turn out well, espescially as i am an my 2nd Fursty
Ferret [1].

[1] Not a Ubuntu Distro amusingly, but a rather nice tipple.
