It's about who gets miracles. Who gets miracles and who doesn't. Christians report miracle medical recoveries and say 'God did it'. Amputees get nothing from God. A little girl gets born without arms. She doesn't get a miracle. No amputee does. It doesn't matter if an amputee lost limbs by accident, by disease or by war. Amputees never get the miracle of limbs growing back. The best evidence of a miracle is if a zero probability event happens. Amputees growing limbs back is a zero probability event. Supernatural miracles are bullshit until at least one amputee grows limbs back. -- D from BC British Columbia

Most of Jesus' disciples were killed for their beliefs and their reason was that they saw and spoke with Jesus for themselves after he was raised from the dead. The bottom line is that pretty much every Christian has as good a reason to believe as you do to not believe. You're kind of like a person that doesn't believe in fish but has never seen any water except tap water and you incorrectly assume no one else has ever seen any water except tap water. RogerN

Is there any second source ? History don't even know if they (the disciples) ever existed at all. hamilton PS: Tell us about the Gnostic Gospels and why they did not make the cut.

The Bible doesn't tell about the original Disciples dying for their faith, only the death of Judas, all that information comes from other sources. RogerN |
