Remarkable. How to you know HTML 5 will not be worse? BTW, I see none of those things you see with Flash, and I'm using an inferior PC. -- Geoff Berrow (Put thecat out to email) It's only Usenet, no one dies. My opinions, not the committee's, mine. It's okay on the Mac as well; although I suspect that they got it more right on the PC, as so often happens (they have more incentive) it works pretty damn well on the Mac. -- Peter

Indeed - I try to persuade clients to use as little animation as possible - but not none at all - there is a place for everything - and I have often been surprised at how small a file size Flash can produce - even of videos. But then I guess Rowland has a room full of Betamax and 8-track. Perhaps even Silverlight just waiting for the day when everyone will use them. -- Duncan K Downtown Dalgety Bay

I dislike flash adverts, but when they go we will have html5 adverts, or animated gifs, Flash can do some great things, althought it doesn't often, and it is a major security concern -- Woody |
