Expect an increase in the price of oranges. The reason has nothing at all
to do you the minimum wage etc. BAH is conflating weather conditions with
wages.

They both start with a "W". "W" has caused a lot of the worlds problems
because as everyone knows "W" starts "Wars".

Actually in this case it may be a bit bigger. A lot of americans are
saying "this is weird weather we are saying". On tuesday, I expect Bush
to say the glow ball warming is a major threat. He may even point out
that the ice caps melting is the center of this threat and thus has
started a war on them.

The other theory is that they are evil. If you wanted to destroy the US,
wouldn't the easiest way be to exhaust its economy and it military. This
would leave it in a weakened state and thus easy for, let say China, to
destroy.

In this case she is correct that the "hand him over or we will destroy
you message was sent". The "him" was OBL. The Taliban claimed to not
have control over him and that he was not in their country etc. The war
was thus started and the Taliban temporarily removed from power. The US
didn't completely destroy the Taliban so that over the next few years they
will be able to regroup and retake control of the country.

You obviously know absolutely nothing about electronics. Its done
every day, with the proper equipment. What do you think an
oscilloscope, voltmeter, or frequency counter does? Yes, they may
affect the circuit under test, but usually not enough to notice.
Especially in low impedance circuits.

This is exactly what I was hoping to discover.

To BAH, I think an 'extremist' is anyone she doesn't agree with.

Does anyone remember "Tempest" shielding measures?

A car could sit out on the street and read your CRT display with the
right gear.

Just not on the PCs I made for the big boys. Our screen glass alone
was over $400 each (at 17"), and it was just a thin glass with a
conductive optical coating and metallized edges!
