From: Ginny Caughey on 3 Sep 2009 15:22 Of course you can. ;-) I was just checking to see whether the $99 charge would affect you because you still rely on VO, or if you're like Erik and really don't care at this point. I think the point is that unless Grafx can generate a revenue stream to pay for future service packs, there just won't be any. Anybody who's in business understands this very well. -- Ginny Caughey www.wasteworks.com "Infoservice" <pippo(a)aol.it> wrote in message news:4aa00126$0$34622$4fafbaef(a)reader4.news.tin.it... > > "Ginny Caughey" <ginny.caughey.online(a)wasteworks.com> ha scritto nel > messaggio news:001bcb70$0$4877$c3e8da3(a)news.astraweb.com... >> Francesco, >> >> So are planning on dropping VO? Your time spent on this newsgroup costs much more. Perhaps it is not about the money? Difficult to say so long afterwards, but if I had to pay double for SP2 (before I met the issues) I might have done so. But the fact we now how to pay for fixes for things that were broken in SP2 is not a fair way of doing things. If fact it is more like a trap. On the other hand, this and my other bad experiences with Grafx stimulated me to have a good look at C# and that is something I do not regret.... But who garantees we do not have to wait another year for fixes for the possible new introduced bugs in SP3 ? > >> If VO is no longer maintainted, CA can reclaim it. > > I doubt that anyone at CA is interested in a product with such a positive > user > group.
