Such a thing could easily be a stand-alone product, only no one
would bother to download and install it.

There was no need to rewrite my question, but thank you for
answering it. As I now understand it, launchpad is bundled with the
firewall, with no way to avoid installing it. I know you disagree that
'bundled' is an accurate word to use here, and I won't quibble further
with the spin you've put on it.

You posted that earlier today, which is why I didn't ask that
question.

If you'd read this thread, you'd notice that I haven't been talking
about the 'simple feature'. Almost entirely I have been talking
about the fact that you were evading questions about it. I have no
interest in your product specifically, but I do have an interest in
freeware authors being open and honest when they post to this group.
My initial suggestions to you were meant to be helpful, but it was
like pulling teeth.

oohhh nooo.. now you are scaring me Bearbottoms :-)
While you are at it, give its security features a try. For example try
to kill it (and try to kill sandboxie with the similar techniques and
see which one will resist ;-)) and try the leak tests. We are serious
about security!

Q

Please, I have provided more than enough responses (actually more than
what you and others asked) and even being blamed as Lazy because I
included a link to a forum post that had this discussions over and over
and my answers were also included! The problem was not that I was
avoiding any questions, but people who "claimed" they were interested
in answers were "lazy" (I don't mean to be disrespectful to you as I
believe your intentions are genuine) by chosing not to read it by
demanding a "personalised summary" :-) I mean c'mon, you can take the
horse to the water but.....You will see that I have been open, honest
and as responsive as I can be, have provided answers to almost every
question about our products that i know of and more than happy to
continue to do so!

Melih, where do I send suggestions for improvements to Comodo's Firewall?

Thanks,

That's not at all what I've seen. I don't see any point in attempting
to discuss it further. Good luck with your efforts at Comodo.
