Also, I have seen here more long winding, full quoted threads, without the "Quoting Police" coming into action... where were you then? -- Jay (IP)

Your "very selective" picking of targets for your police action (I have seen long winding fully quoted threads here about *nix, without you guys entering the discussion) makes that I no longer enjoy posting here. I had them myself. But for the beta's I used since then they made their own (un)installer, and I could uninstall them without any problem. I'm running now version 2.3.4.45 That uninstalls very well on my system, I had to do it three times because I did some really stupid thing while installing (had nothing to do with the firewall) :0) Did you try version 2.3.4.45? Came out yesterday. That should unistall well. As far as concerning Launchpad: it could be easier, but you can kill it. Just right-click on the icon and choose to not let it start when booting. Don't know why they didn't make that more clear, but it's in the help, so it's not a big secret or so. I forgot to tell: I used a sniffer etc. too in the past. Peter
