Interestingly enough, the ~10% of the germnaapopulation killed in WW2 were not all Nazis by a long way ! There had to be an de-Nazification programme after the war. The war was won not by 'winning over' the Germans anyway but by simply destroying their military and invading their territory with a full-scale military occupation. Graham
