It requires tethering to bloatware on your computer that has a nasty
habit of corrupting its own database and/or your tethered device,
whereas I use the cloud seamlessly and easily right from my mobile
wherever I happen to be.

I dislike Overdrive (albeit not as much as I dislike iTunes).
What I do instead is convert the Overdrive downloads into DRM-free MP3
files, which are then easily copied/synced to my mobile.
