I might need an update on that.. http://rst.gsfc.nasa.gov/Sect2/Slide1.jpg The layers are like a clock. Top layers are young. Bottom layers are old. If one goes deep enough, the fossilized life forms (aside from plants) are marine only. If mammals are found at this layer then evolution is busted. Below that there's nothing..No life... A lot of my time is spent to and from work I mostly listen to Bott radio network broadcast from St Louis. Lee Stroebel is a frequent guest on The Bible Answer Man broadcast that often is on while I'm driving home, depending on what time I get off work. RogerN

Oldest rocks are granitic, the continents. Granite is heavy, sure, but it's lighter than basalt, "floats" on top, and tends to stay up there. Basalt gets made and remade. There's some brand new Earth's crust in the mid-Atlantic, made fresh today. One of Roger's questions was "Why does one commonly find ancient rocks on top of new rocks?" > If one goes deep enough, the fossilized life forms (aside from plants) > are marine only.
