From: Geoff Schaller on 6 Oct 2006 08:32 We can hope can't we? <g> Well it was a reasonable question and quite a few people are keen on the answer, being a little reticent to ask on their own. Brian ignores these folks at his peril - it is treating them with contempt. From: Ginny Caughey on 6 Oct 2006 08:57 Geoff, As far as I can tell, it's mainly you that he's ignoring. But in any case I imagine the answers to the sorts of questions you asked would be saved for announcements at conferences. That's the way it's been in the past for both CA and Grafx, and come to think of it, Microsoft. -- Ginny "Geoff Schaller" <geoff(a)xxxsoftwareobjectives.com.au> wrote in message news:45264ceb$1(a)dnews.tpgi.com.au... > We can hope can't we? <g> > > Well it was a reasonable question and quite a few people are keen on the > answer, being a little reticent to ask on their own. From: Geoff Schaller on 6 Oct 2006 09:14 Ginny. Why are you seeking to perpetuate this nonsense? What you are saying is that the questions I've posed are not relevant and that no-one else out there could be interested in them. Do you really think that? Aren't they the exact questions posed at conferences and in forums like this? I don't think you do so I can't imagine why you are aren't joining with me to ask Brian (even behind the scenes) to do something about informing the wider VO community. It doesn't have to interfere with his precious little clubby thing but if he is expecting wider community support then its about time he engaged the wider community. Geoff, > Why are you seeking to perpetuate this nonsense? What you are saying is > that the questions I've posed are not relevant and that no-one else out Please reread my reply to you. That is not what I said. Either you didn't read my reply or you intentionally misrepresented it. What I actually did say is repeated below: >> As far as I can tell, it's mainly you that he's ignoring. But in any case >> I >> imagine the answers to the sorts of questions you asked would be saved >> for >> announcements at conferences.
