Geoff,

You can try to make as much confusion as you want but

I have made clearly that Brian has stated very recently, he will
_not_stop_developping_VO32.

Geoff

snip[ Phil's misinformation aside, it was Brian who made the
announcement to the VOPS forum that VO 2.8 was likely to be the last
version for pure VO. ]

Actually he said .. that VO2.8 would be a major point release and
future releases would be based on the financial support to continue
this development. Sounds like a sound commercial and predictable
business decision. He is not a charity you know. Every business is
going to put their resources where they get the best return. To me why
would you go much further with VO anyway..!
--
snip[ So the premise that VO is dead did come from Brian.
Misinterpretation or not, it got the tongues wagging and that is not a
good thing. ]

Misintepretation and spin is your game most of the time.
--
snip[ That you have information to the contrary again jettisons you to
the forefront of GrafX policy and information release and one wonders
(again) why Brian feels a need to keep such important information ]

What secret. ?? Jeez you have nothing better to do than twist and
turn the facts.
--
snip[ Can you see why people lose confidence in Brian when they see
information release being conducted by authorised leak? It gives you
the impression that this allows Brian to change his mind and then claim
he never said it anyway. ]

Geoff you posted so much misinformation you got the bullet from VOPS.
You just make it up and then keep pushing the story .. your worse than
FOX news.
--
snip[ So, if VO is to continue active evolution beyond 2.8 (and not
just fix releases), I'd like to see some official confirmation of the
fact. ]

Well put your money where you mouth is and get another 100 friends and
their money too. I think you would be hard pressed to find 20 friends
and definitely less with real money.

snip[ It would alter my attitude substantially. On the other hand, 18
months between drinks is as good as no drinks...]

Geez that would definitely kill Graham for sure and a dry old argument.

Geoff,

Again you quote misinformation..... this is what I said exactly

SNIP[ [Steve and I do almost 100% of coding VO each day. Others to
differing
degrees have to maintain a code base. To me VO2.8 is probably the end
of
the line for VO]

Note that it says "TO ME VO2,8 is probably the end of the line for VO".
This saids TO ME.. and my opinion it serves and completes my needs
and requirements for WIN32 compiler and the future for me and my team
will be .NET and PHP.

Don't try add some twist to this statement and add all your spin that
this was Brian semi authorised statement.

Me... confusing? <rofl>. This is a direct cut from YOUR post:

should be
that he will _not_ continue VO32 'forever'
Erik

Come on Eric, you're making a 3 ring circus out of this.
Whether or not Brian has made up his mind is moot. We don't know and
want to.
You certainly haven't <g>.

Nice one Phil. Keep wriggling, you'll squirm out one day.
Your almost exact words were that 2.8 was to be the last version for VO.
You also said this came straight from Brian.

Spin away sunshine!
