God does follow rules. The 10 Commandments that God follows are: 1: Thou shall be invisible to give the impression of being superior to human perception. 2: Thou shall be unpredictable to give the impression of superior intellect. (afaik God hasn't done anything twice in the bible.) 4: Thou shall act nonexistent and leave no evidence to give the impression of superior existing power. 5: Thou shall meet dead people to give the impression of being superior to live people. 6: Thou shall kill people to give the impression of superior power. (Without creating better options God kills over 2 million people in the bible.) 7: Thou shall allow suffering to give the impression of superior love of people. 8: Thou shall do evil(by inaction or by allowing evil agents) to give the impression of superior love of people. 9: Thou shall not give Jesus visions to Buddhists and Hindus. 10: Thou shall not be effective at spreading Christianity. 9 and 10 are similar but the bible commandments have redundancies too. I've got a farm here, it's late April, etc. Still getting through all the work and it takes a lot. I've still some land to clear, which means pulling some stumps and chopping and stacking the resulting wood as well as the planting part. Plus, finishing up an important project of mine. This is a very busy moment. I have saved and will return to your posts as soon as I get a breather. I understand your query, it is well-placed, and you are right to remind me about it. I really _want_ to get a moment, sooner than later, too. It's just extra hard work right now that goes above and beyond the usual load and sleep impinges on what's left. You have my sincere apologies. Jon

You don't have to pray. Praying is an admission that you don't believe God is omniscient. An omniscient God is fully aware of your situation and can figure out what you'd pray. Even if you resisted praying, God would know what you'd pray. > > It's pretty sad when you have to make a thread to claim superiority to > Christians and then you have to try to attribute your own ignorance to > Christians to make your point. > > RogerN > Christian engineers are ridiculous in believing in a God that is powerless to create and pop souls directly into heaven instead of farting around on a water planet with thinking ape meat with a inclination to believe in other Gods or no God at all. 66% of the world is not Christian. 43% or Vancouver BC report being nonreligious. -- D from BC British Columbia

'Some time after the birth of Isaac, Abraham was commanded by God to offer his son up as a sacrifice in the land of Moriah. Just as Abraham was about to sacrifice his son, he was prevented by an angel, and given on that spot a ram which he sacrificed in place of his son.' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham God is misleading. That is a form of lying/deception. God lied. God firstly wants Isaac dead. There is no aftermath where God tells Abraham 'Hey! I told you to kill your son!... What?? Some angel??...! I want your son dead and I'm gonna kill that angel too! Start killing your son now and this time I'm watching!'
