How does the stylus on a Toshiba tablet work??
Any ideas? Tried google without success. The screen senses the stylus from a 10mm+ from the surface. The stylus also has an erase function so I imagine the stylus has an active component to it. ... 5 Feb 2010 15:05
Helping with TI's XTR117 ??? (SON8 DFN package)

Current divider mirror
I need a current mirror that has a current coming in from +V or -V, reproduces that current from +V, and produces a current to -V which is about 0.1 to 10 times the input current. I'd just do it with one of those ten emitter transistors that ICs are so fond of using, but they aren't variable geometry... Tim... 9 Feb 2010 19:42

XO controlled 480Hz Oscillator
What is the simplest way to get 480Hz from a crystal controlled oscillator? Looks like most of the pre-packaged XO's and VCXO, seem to put out much higher frequencies. Would a series of dividers be the best way? Thanks, Chris KQ6UP ... 23 Feb 2010 15:52

Linux sucks
http://www.abvolt.com/misc/A330-200_Linux.JPG This is the TV console of A330 en route from Amsterdam to US. No movies for the whole plane. However, watching their attempts of rebooting it for an hour and a half was kind of entertaining :-) BTW, the TV remote control had some bugs as well. Vladimir Vass... 10 Feb 2010 21:21
Simple crank powered USB phone charger?
