toward the VOPS did change because Brian did not deliver on his
promises and refused to accept criticism. ]

The group gets even time for each paying subscription member. You used
up your annual quota in the 1st week and then became argumentative and
knew more than everybody else and wanted to tell them how to do their
job. They musted have wasted 3 hours a week just correcting your
misinformation.

snip[ And VO 2.8? There is nothing important that is new that I need,
nothing new in the GUI classes (that I would have preferred) and none
of the promised XML support so we will wait patiently to see if there
is sufficient positive response before upgrading. VO 2756 does enough
for me now and we cope quite well. ]

Personally all I ever wanted was new version which did what is does now
but faster and cleaner if possible and with updated documentation. I
understand it has been a nightmare to clean up and rebuild / rewrite a
system which started in 1991 and had been added to adhoc for years and
years.

The new broom sweeps clean and with a clean slate they can build on a
known solid base.

The most important thing is 2 development teams needed to comunicate a
strategy to take VO to .NET via VULCAN

Just stop complaining..

Thats true, but in the meantime - the time between the end of your
description and the release date you wan't get anything - nor new
betas or access to the newsgroups - its the same as you never have paid
the bucks...

What is strange about that? You have taken a subscription to a support
program. During the program you got want you subcribed and now you want the
same as the people who extended their subscription?
Is this how it goes in Germany when i take a subscription on for example
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung? Do i still receive items after my
subscription ends?

Erik

As we say in Germany 'Apples and Pears'. With VO I have also payed for
VULCAN (full license) and I cant see why I cant get all new builds
until the release date. As I wrote in a previous message I dont
expecting a real support from GrafX after the paying period but what is
wrong with a access to the newest builds and access to the
VOPS-Newsgroups (for all I care only for reading) ?

Anyway! I'm now happy with C# and VO2.7 for legacy Apps - no need
anymore for the VULCAN or VO.whatever stuff...
