From: rob on 19 Sep 2006 17:25 Marc, I don't candy coat anything. I have had so much frustration with VO and it drives me nuts when other VO evangelist (such as yourself) out here try to make excuse for Graphx short falls. Answer one simple question for me. What has Graphx provided for all non VOPS members in the past year? Cheers, Rob P.S. - My finger still hurts from "Flicking" VO to the side for NEW development. LOL!

However, the cheap way out is to buy one years subscription to VOPS so that you can get both versions for the same price. Otherwise you will have to pay for both. That isn't cheap. Geoff

Heiko, There are a number of companies in Australia who share your experience. In many cases, the original interest was a desire to help fund the continuing development of VO32, in parallel with Vulcan. Alas most of the VO32 money was siphoned off into Vulcan VO32 languished. It is still languishing and the 2.8 releases have obviously not made an important impact or we would have heard about it. In fact, the only thing we have heard is that after Brian's announcement to the VOPS that there would only be the one release of VO 2.8 to the VOPS prior to official release that there were many subsequent builds <g>. It seems that things are still not very well in the VO32 camp.
